LOW PIM CABLE SUPPORT BRACKETS™

LOW PIM CABLE SUPPORT BRACKETS™

With a PIM Probe, sources of passive intermodulation at cell sites can now be accurately identified. Using this technology, ConcealFab has found that the hose clamps used to secure RF components behind or below base station antennas are often a source of PIM at frequencies below 1 GHz. In many cases, these hose clamps are used to secure RF jumper cable support bracketry. To eliminate this source of PIM, ConcealFab has designed an alternate solution that eliminates hose clamps, replacing them with high clamping force, galvanized steel hardware.
ConcealFab’s cable support brackets work with off-the-shelf cable support blocks from manufacturers such as Commscope. (Cable support blocks are not supplied with the kit). A small grip range option is available for securing two typical cable support blocks (four ½ inch jumper cables) and a large grip range version is available for securing six typical cable support blocks (twelve ½ inch jumper cables.)

KEY FEATURES
• Eliminates hose clamps close to base station antennas
• Eliminates galvanic mismatch between hardware and pole
• Consistent, high clamping force
• Significantly lower PIM than available alternatives
